I gave Tigres my kiss of death when I picked them to win the Apertura 2007 season. So far, so good as Tigres is off to a flying 1-5-1 start.
Still, coach Americo Gallego is apparently on solid ground. Tigres vice president Sebastian Luri told mediotiempo.com that Gallego's job is safe.
Said Luri: "We believe in the coach and in this project. We feel that there are some players who are not at their best. That's the analysis and it bothers us greatly."
