Just to show that it's not just the other side of the pond making mistakes, here's a bit from the NY Times on the Dallas/LA match. Notice the mention of the goal scored via penalty.
Hmmm. I watched the game and somehow missed that. Except, actually, there were no PK's in the game, to the chagrin of Dallas fans who thought Toja deserved one.
