Just got off the phone with Alexi Lalas.
Among the things we talked about was Abel Xavier. Looks like Abel is supposed to arrive in Southern California tomorrow and train with the team on Wednesday. If he gets all of his paperwork squared away, he could play Sunday against Real Salt Lake.
As far as the paperwork goes, the Galaxy has done their part so it's just up to INS to approve his work visa.
