Exciting!

I'm watching the Columbus-Kansas City game on the nifty MLS Live TV thing and Guillermo Barros Schelotto is stepping onto the field for the first time in a Crew uniform.

Kick ass!

It's too bad a lot of empty seats welcomed him to Major League Soccer.

About KC's empty seats issue. Think about this, there were several games this past fall in the ACC Soccer and college soccer in general where attendence number over 8,000. So it really is a shame that KC can't even equal that number for its home opener. What does it say about the status of soccer in the US when college soccer is outdrawing MLS matches? What does it say MLS not tapping into a certain demographic 18 to 35 young people?
